1. Compare and contrast three different digital video cameras currently on the North American market that are selling in the USD $ 4,000-6,000 range. Which of the three would you recommend buying for yourself, and for what reason(s)?
2. Discuss the advantages and drawbacks of three different video CODECS that are currently used to compress video files for digital exhibition. Which one would you choose to use if planning to upload one of your animation or live video assignments to a website and why?
3. Outline the advantanges and drawbacks of shooting digital video in 16X9 format instead of in 4X3 format. Describe a situation where you would choose to shoot in 16X9, and outline the things you would want to keep in mind throughout the editing process.
